Wilton Academy is proud to be hosting another SSO Time for Toddlers event on Wednesday, October 24th at Albert Community Centre (610 Clarence Ave S).
Specifically designed for your mini-maestro, these parent and child experiences are perfect for your 2- to 4-year-old music lover.
Explore music through movement, song and dance with SSO musicians at the Wilton Academy of Music (Albert Community Centre, Room 21). Let the music connect you and your child and send you both on a journey through melody, rhythm, colour and beautiful sound.
Register online for one of two sessions, 9:30 or 11:00am on the SSO website: http://saskatoonsymphony.org/event/time-for-toddlers/

For students who intend to continue their lessons in the 2018/19 school year, please go to our website and submit a registration form to hold your spot or to request a change. If you are interested in lessons for the 2018/19 school year, we would love to find you a spot with one of our excellent instructors. We will know all availability by May 7th and then contact you soon after that date. Please go to the “Register” tab and submit an online form. The sooner you send in your registration, the higher you will be on the list for openings. We offer both Traditional and Suzuki methods in piano and guitar, as well as Traditional violin. Visit the Private Lessons page for more details.
This spring, as of April 23rd, all instrumental lessons in piano, guitar and violin will be held at St John’s Parish Hall located at 816 Spadina Cres, in the building directly behind St John’s Anglican Cathedral. We will have access to 3 lesson rooms in the lower floor of the building – watch for our signs.
We have been so thankful for the great lesson space that MCH has provided for us over the past few years, and we will continue to hold our early childhood Saturday morning classes there. However, the increasing demand for our private instrumental lessons has created a huge need for more space. We are SO excited for what St. John’s has to offer as we continue to grow:
Your lesson teacher will provide detailed instructions regarding security code entrance and parking and help to address any questions/concerns you might have.
2:00pm – Spring Concert for Early Childhood classes: This concert includes all students from our Parenting With Music, Suzuki Early Childhood and Music in Early Childhood classes. Please purchase tickets from your teacher at this week’s class: $5 for each adult attending; children are free (cash preferred). Proceeds will go toward our Student Bursary Fund which provides music tuition subsidy for low income families.
3:15-4:15pm + 4:30-5:30pm – Private Instrumental Recitals: Due to our high number of instrumental students in piano, guitar and violin, there will be 2 recital times instead of one long one. Check with your instructor as to which time you are scheduled, 3:15 or 4:30. Please purchase tickets from your teacher at this week’s lesson for $5 per adult attending (cash preferred); children are free. Proceeds will go toward our Student Bursary Fund which provides music tuition subsidy for low income families.
