Classes and Lessons begin in 2 weeks

Our 2019/20 classes and lessons begin soon

We still have some spots available in our early childhood music classes as well as lesson spots for piano, guitar and violin in either suzuki or traditional method.

Parenting With Music classes (age 0 to 36 months) has availability on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturday morning.

Music in Early Childhood (age 3, 4, 5 or 6 years) has availability on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Piano, Guitar & Violin Lessons

We have a few spots remaining for one-on-one lessons in piano, guitar and violin.  We offer both Suzuki and Traditional instruction methods.

Please contact us with some info about your child’s age/experience, instrument choice as well as day/time preferences and we’ll get back to you regarding available options and answers to any questions you may have.  Also, please see our Lessons page or our Resources page for more info about the differences and requirements of Suzuki VS Traditional methods.

2018/19 Class Registration is Open!

Registration is Now Open for all CMEP 2018/19 Early Childhood Music Classes :

Ages 0 to 36 months
Parenting With Music  (PWM)

New this year:  For those who are familiar with our parent/baby music classes (Parenting With Music + Suzuki Early Childhood), we have now combined the elements of these classes into one curriculum under the “Parenting With Music (PWM)” title.  This allows us to offer a greater variety of days and times to all parents with babies age
0 to 36 months:
Wed   9:15-10:00am (PWM-W1)
Wed 10:05-10:50am (PWM-W2)
Sat   11:00-11:45am (PWM-S)

Ages 3 to 6 years
Music in Early Childhood (MEC)

We are offering the following options for ages 3, 4/5, and 6 years:
3’s
Tue    1:00 – 1:45pm (MEC3-T)
Wed 11:00 -11:45am (MEC3-W)
Sat   10:00 -10:45am (MEC3-S)
4/5’s
Tue    2:00 – 3:00pm (MEC4/5-T)
Wed 12:00 – 1:00pm (MEC4/5-W)
Sat    9:00 -10:00am (MEC4/5-S1)
Sat   12:45 – 1:45pm (MEC4/5-S2)
6’s

Private Lesson Students – Early Registration is open to claim your spots

To existing private lesson clients:

For students who intend to continue their lessons in the 2018/19 school year, please go to our website and submit a registration form to hold your spot or to request a change. We will guarantee your place until May 7th, and then all unclaimed spots will be offered to our wait list of new clients. Register soon to avoid disappointment.

To new private lesson clients:

If you are interested in lessons for the 2018/19 school year, we would love to find you a spot with one of our excellent instructors.  We will know all availability by May 7th and then contact you soon after that date. Please go to the “Register” tab and submit an online form. The sooner you send in your registration, the higher you will be on the list for openings.  We offer both Traditional and Suzuki methods in piano and guitar, as well as Traditional violin.  Visit the Private Lessons page for more details.

2018 Summer Music Camp

Registration is now open for our 2018 Summer Music Camp.

FULL DAYS:  One week only, July 9 to 13  for ages 4 to 6 years , 9:30am-4:00pm

Camps will take place at St. John’s Parish Hall, the building directly behind St. John’s Cathedral at 816 Spadina Cres
