Elrose – Early Childhood Music Classes

NEW in 2022!  Elrose – Early Childhood Music Classes

Wilton Academy of Music is pleased to announce that we will be offering our early childhood music programming in the Elrose community beginning in January 2022.  For over 37 years, we have provided our unique age-specific curriculum to families in Saskatoon and are now launching a pilot project in the town of Elrose.  Please register soon as space is limited.  We are offering the following 2 classes:

Parenting with Music (PWM) – for age 0 to 36 months
Saturdays at 10:00am  (class code:  PWM-Elrose)

Music in Early Childhood (MEC) – for age 3 to 4 years
Saturdays at 11:00am  (class code:  MEC3/4-Elrose)

** For both age groups above, parents attend with their child (one adult per child)

Location: Scout Hut, 113 4th Ave W
Dates: January 15th to March 26th
Cost: $250 per child

Guitar Lessons – Suzuki or Traditional Method

Wilton Academy is proud to introduce our new guitar instructor, Stephanie Unverricht, who is offering private lessons in Suzuki or Traditional method for ages 4 and up.  Please see her full bio on our Instructors page.  Stephanie will also be offering group guitar classes.  For ages 4 to 6, an introductory class will teach children (along with their parents) the fundamentals to help prepare them for future individual guitar lessons.  For ages 7 and up, an emsemble class will be offered for existing guitar students already enrolled in private lessons.  Stay tuned for more information regarding future dates and times of these classes.

New Venue for Instrumental Lessons

Exciting News!

Wilton Academy of Music will be moving all Private Instrumental Lessons to our new venue!

This spring, as of April 23rd, all instrumental lessons in piano, guitar and violin will be held at St John’s Parish Hall located at 816 Spadina Cres, in the building directly behind St John’s Anglican Cathedral.  We will have access to 3 lesson rooms in the lower floor of the building – watch for our signs.

We have been so thankful for the great lesson space that MCH has provided for us over the past few years, and we will continue to hold our early childhood Saturday morning classes there.  However, the increasing demand for our private instrumental lessons has created a huge need for more space.  We are SO excited for what St. John’s has to offer as we continue to grow:

  • More rooms, solely for our use – This means a broader range of times and days available for regular lessons, allowing us to accommodate more students on our ever-growing wait list.
  • High quality pianos – We will have the space and means to provide excellent instruments for our students and instructors to enjoy.
  • Central and secure location – Easy access, right in the heart of the city, providing an extensive security system and comfortable waiting area for students.

Your lesson teacher will provide detailed instructions regarding security code entrance and parking and help to address any questions/concerns you might have.
