Piano, Guitar and Violin Lessons 2020/21

By | Registration

Registration is open for piano, guitar and violin lessons

There are a few lesson spots available for piano, guitar and violin lessons, traditional or Suzuki methods, for the 2020/21 school year.  We are very appreciative of the work our instructors have done to continue to offer instrumental lessons through various online resources in response to the Covid restrictions.  We are preparing and scheduling for in-person lessons to resume in September at our St John’s studios, with online options  available if restrictions change at any time thoughout the year.  Many of our instructor schedules are almost full.  Please register soon so we can find a spot that will work for you, or contact us at [email protected] with any questions.

Early Childhood Music classes 2020/21

By | Registration

Registration is Now Open for all 2020/21 Early Childhood Music Classes

Due to our reduced early childhood class sizes, please consider registering early to avoid disappointment.  Details of our safety measures are outlined below.

Although the past school year came to an early end due to covid, we are looking forward to a great start in September and are working hard to prepare for all circumstances in order to ensure the safety of our student families and instructors by implementing the following measures:

  • Modifications to our curriculum to reduce personal interactions and use of shared objects
  • Smaller class sizes – limit of 8 students per class
  • Individual instrument kits for each child to exclusively use for the duration of the school year, contained in a bag labelled with their name and kept in separate class boxes on site between classes.
  • More time between classes for student changeovers.
  • Strict protocols requiring non-attendance if there are symptoms of illness in the student household
  • Strict hand sanitizing protocols on arrival and departure from class
  • Changes to our cancellation policy in the event that classes are permanently suspended for the year.
  • The instrument kits mentioned above will be provided for use for the year at no extra cost to our students.

In addition, to all who were enrolled in spring classes as of March, 2020, we are offering a $40 discount off your fall class registration to help compensate for missed classes this spring due to the Covid restrictions.

As a small private business, your continued support is essential to our future. Our music programs have a 36 year history in Saskatoon. Many of our current parents were once children in these very same programs and we are so grateful for that loyalty and history with you. We look forward to many more bright years of music education with your children (and perhaps their children)!

Registration is now open. The following is a list of the class days and times we are offering for 2020/21. Please tell your friends and families about our classes. Register early to ensure a spot in your preferred class.  Wishing you all an excellent summer!
